Poland-based quartet balancing on the line between experiment and jazz. Their music centers on the power of collective improvisation, opening space for constant exploration. What they create is full of surprise, authenticity, and sometimes cinematic scope. In concert, band experiments with sound freely, thrill in the unknown, and collide ideas spontaneously — so every performance is a completely new adventure.
They’re friends offstage too, sharing an abstract sense of humor they channel into their music. Their highest compliment is a post-gig remark like: "I don’t normally like jazz, but I want more of what you do! "
The group formed in early spring 2019 and has released two physical albums — For Joseph Riddle (2021) and For Chaching Taphed (2023). Both records have been in rotation on stations such as BBC, Polskie Radio, RTE, and Worldwide FM, and earned positive reviews in Jazz Forum, JazzPRESS, Music Is My Sanctuary, and Bandcamp Daily.
They’ve appeared on prestigious stages at home and abroad, including Jassmine (Warsaw), NOSPR (Katowice), Opus Jazz Club (Budapest), Jazz Club Tonne (Dresden), and Kino Siska (Ljubljana).
In February 2025, the band recorded a new full-length album scheduled for release at the end of the year.
"With such an unpredictable band it’s impossible to be bored. This quartet from Wrocław really rocks. The avoid unnecessary dilutions, focusing on concrets. It’s dense." | Jarek Szczęsny, a review of For Chaching Taphed, nowamuzyka.pl, 2023
